The Fine Line by Alicia Kobishop

Synopsis

High school senior Liv Evans has one rule: No attachments. She’s lost enough in her life and has vowed to do whatever it takes to make sure she never again feels the emptiness of losing someone she loves. Boys are a fun distraction, but a serious relationship is something she’d rather live without. Her determination for a future free of pain and heartbreak is put to the test when she meets–and quickly forms an unexpected bond–with Logan Tanner.

Logan has always been a free spirit, but ever since a life-changing event took place, which left him doubting the integrity of those who are closest to him, he’s taken that term to a whole new dangerous level. Learning the hard way that life is too short for worries or work–and that women can’t be trusted–Logan has exchanged steady work for street racing. When Liv walks into his world, everything he thought he knew about life and women is challenged.

In The Fine Line, Liv and Logan will discover if                   possible for true love to have a future, or
if history is destined to repeat itself.

Our 4 Star Review

Liv has had too many people she loved leave her. So she's got her Big Rule NO ATTACHMENTS EVER. She's done pretty god with it so far until Logan and his mesmerizing eyes catch her attention. She does everything she can to keep it platonic, but how long can that really last? As they cross the line can they both overcome their pasts or will secrets and fear keep them apart for good?

Logan is such a sweetie, at the beginning he knows he doesn't do relationships and he's happy with it for awhile, but when he knows his true feelings for Liv he's not afraid to tell her and show her. He made some mistakes, but overall he knows what he wants and goes after it.

Liv. Liv, Liv, Liv. I've read OVER 600 books in the last year alone so when I say she's the most stubborn character I've EVER come across you know I mean it!!!! She's had to many of people leave her that she's terrified to let Logan get too close, but what she doesn't see is that if she keeps pushing him away and denying her feelings before she truly pushes him away for good. Can she accept him in time?
This was a good read with young love, teen drama, and drag racing.
