Synopsis

Her life isn't glamorous, but Rhea Griggs does her best.
In her small town of Wakefield, Virginia she lives the life she has been given, but loving your older brother's best friend is always a gamble. For Rhea, it's an unspoken truth.
Chad Payne is a sailor, a SEAL, and he loves his job, but the danger and unknowing is starting to weigh on his heart and soul. He's ready to settle down, but confessing his love for his best friend's little sister is easier said than done.
When heartbreak and loss find Rhea, Chad knows it's now or never.
Is two weeks enough for them to share the love of a lifetime? To mend two hearts into one? Can Rhea handle what comes with loving a SEAL?

Contains rowdy country fun, heart warming love and one heart wrenching farewell that will leave you speechless.

Our 4 Star Review

She's loved him since she was 5 years old. He was 5 years older than her and her brother's best friend, but Rhea loved everything about him and even though she tried as she got older even when he enlisted and was gone for months at a time, she never could forget Chad.

Chad fell in love with Rhea when he was 15 as they got older it was because of his respect for his best friend that he stayed away from her. Now after they have both lost loved ones and best friends they come together and finally profess their love and are finally, finally together. But the catch? He's getting deployed again in two weeks. Allot can happen in a short amount of time and what happens when he has to leave again? Add in an obsessed man ready to show Rhea he can be what she wants, and you get a great story.

Rhea was a strong lead, but her feer of rejection caused her to lose years with the man she's always loved. The same can be said of Chad, he should've maned up a long time ago, but at least they finally have each other, right? The supporting characters in this helped keep things light even when you needed a tissue every 10 mins. Alpha Male, hot sex, and a whole lot of Love what more do you want in a novel?

Synopsis

In the sequel to "Two Weeks With a SEAL" we find Rhea left behind by Chad's deployment. When she's faced with a surprising obstacle, she misses him more as every day passes. Her friendship with fellow SEAL wife, Rosa, grows and they lean on one another for support. Chad wants to protect his brothers and loves his job, but he's ready to be a civilian again and to be home with the love of his life. Can he keep himself and his brothers safe long enough to get home to Rhea? Will trusting someone who hurt her and believing that they can turn over a new leaf cost Rhea everything? Book 2 is filled with happy surprises, devious rednecks, tearful conversations and one heart pounding event that will cause you to scream.

Our 4 Star Review

With Chad deployed he and Rhea learn if their relationship can survive the separation. With unexpected surprises and new friends becoming closer what happens in the in between until they are together again.

This one is more angst this the first with lonely nights and great friends, but there's still Derik to contend with. You get to see inside his mind and how he feels about Rhea. There's still allot of fun times with close friends keeping things light even through tough times. Enjoyed seeing Chad and Rhea get their HEA.

Synopsis
Ellie Mae Griggs-Heart is trying to escape, trying to find a place where she can finally be 'home'. She can't seem to shake her physically and emotionally abusive, soon to be ex-husband, Jake Heart. Refusing to take hand outs from her cousin Rhea Payne and her husband, former Navy SEAL Chad, Ellie has to moonlight at a job most would consider taboo to make ends meet. She lives day to day with the pain of a choice she made to try and be free of Jake.
Navy SEAL sniper and notorious play-boy, Bobby Timmons, has never been the type to be tied down by a woman, filtering through them like it was his job. Ellie is different. She strikes a different chord and makes Bobby think twice about treating her like the other women in his past. He hates that she feels trapped by her ex, but as a SEAL his life is unpredictable and he is shipped off just as he's getting to know her.
When tragedy and mistakes fill both of their lives, can they lean on each other for support? Or will their pasts destroy everything they could have had?

Our 4.5 Star Review

Bobby's turn to get a HEA, right?

Timmons our favorite man whore has been struck by the love bug. Ellie, Rhea's long lost cousin, is going through a tough divorce from an even more difficult marriage she can't deny her attraction to Bobby, but with all her secrets can she let go and be happy? Just as they start to become closer Bobby ships out and they continue talking through the occasional phone call, but when the unexpected happens and Bobby must come home can he be the man Ellie needs. And will Ellie's past and some of her present come to haunt her, or could it even kill her?

Ellie has a boat load of trouble she's trying to get through and slowly she learns to come out of her shell, especially when it come to the possibility of happiness. Timmons is a hoot and although he's never been a relationship kinda guy he can't deny his attraction to Ellie. I love how he let her in even when things in his life seemed to get screwed up. He's not one to let the bad in life get him down and it was great getting to know his story.

Now I will warn ya this addition to the series deals with some intense situations and also ends in a major cliffhanger. Wakefield 4 comes out in March and I can't wait to see what happens.
