“Do you have an extra toothbrush?” I called out, heading for the bathroom.
“Use mine.”
“Use yours? That’s kind of gross.”
“Is the thought of my tongue in your mouth gross too? Because that could have an impact on our romantic relationship.” I guess he had a point there.
I went into the bathroom, washed up, did everything else that half a bowl of rum punch and three glasses of water made necessary, and then contemplated his toothbrush. Fuck it, I was going for it. I brushed my teeth and headed for the hall. I saw him lying on the sofa, punching a pillow to soften it up and I wandered in to say goodnight. Okay, and to ogle a little because he had taken his shirt off again and his body was beautiful.
“Goodnight,” I said trying not to stare. I wasn't succeeding very well and the amused look on his face told me that he had noticed.
“Goodnight,” he said, trying not to look at my boobs, bouncing around jauntily under McGruff the Crime Dog as I moved. He wasn't succeeding too well either, I might add.
“If you need anything I’ll be in there,” I said glancing off toward his bedroom.
“It’s my apartment, I’m sure I can find whatever I need.” He gave into temptation and let his eyes drop for a moment to my body. “Whatever I need that it would be appropriate for me to have tonight,” he added, sounding frustrated. He grabbed his iPad from the end table, and settled into read.
“What are you reading?” I asked curiously.
“Espionage thriller.”
“Ah, I thought you wanted to read the rest of my…”
“I do, want to read them, but I couldn't handle that tonight with you here and half naked. I might forget my rules about women who have been drinking to excess. Now go get some sleep, because you’re getting me hard again, and if I practice any more self-love tonight, I might get carpel tunnel.”
“You mean you were…” I must have looked surprised.
“What did you think, I was just really hygienic?”
“I thought maybe you were taking cold showers,” I admitted.
“Hell, no. I don’t waste God’s gifts.”

This was a really great story. I loved the playful manner between Braden and Gabrielle is was so fun to read...
The fact that the spent every day fighting against one another in court and the attraction between the two Smoldered on a daily basis yet they both hid it so well, was appealing. It held you tightly just on the edge waiting to see what exactly would happen next.
Give Gabby a few Tequila shots and her saucy best friend as her sidekick and the game is on...
She had been lusting after him secretly for months and it was time she let that be known.

"Yeah, well, he smells good," I said and paused to think about that for a second. "I need to get out more. I'm sniffing the prosecutors."

Braden was thrown for a loop when Gabby let her inner hussy loose. The player himself was Hooked....and the sizzle ignited to a full blown blaze of Lust and need.
Oh this couple was so fun...
But as with every story there is someone trying to come between them the question is Who?

Find out what happens next in The Home Court Advantage...

Wow...that is the first thing that pops into my mind when I think of this group...
They are always get wrapped up in some wild investigative ply brought on by Gabby and her crazy mind.
That girl was an airhead and times and damn it, if it didn't have me laughing throughout the book.

Oh yeah and did I mention some of the wild cases they were struck with on a daily basis.
Old men on bootie calls and women attempting to break into prison to visit their boyfriend because they needed some lovin'
Oh yeah and the naked chick going to the liquor store. Oh my those too had me laughing out loud throughout the story, What a trip.

This group of characters are definitely the ones that never leave you with a dull moment there is always something happening.
*Gabby and her clumsiness nothing was ever a shock when it came to her...ever!

I really enjoyed the tension between and Adam and Lily....I can sense one hell of a story full of angst between those two...(Hint hint for future spin offs)

Oh my Lily...or should I say Lilith?

Adam was the guy that spent his early childhood and adolescent years tormenting her to embarrassment. They grew up together but yet avoided one another whenever possible.

The fact that their best friends are now married made it almost impossible to avoid being in the same room at times.
With Gabby's inability to avoid dramatic and crazy situations she has continued to bring Adam and Lilly along for the ride to here spur of the moments trip and investigations.
Now they find themselves questioning everything that has ever happened between them...from the first time they tormented one another up until the moment they are now struggling with the sexual tension between them.
Adam finally makes a move and asks Lilly out. Things fly from there...

The banter and teasing between these two characters is hysterical at times and I found myself smiling throughout this book.
It really was a fun read.
I have enjoyed this series so far and each book has kept my interset.

I recommend these books....
