Chase is a Mercenary and his team is after a human trafficker, but when Agent Sexy comes into the picture he has more than just finding the bad guy on his mind.

Cameron sees the hot Mercenary and there's no stopping the explosive attraction between them. Sometimes it doesn't take long to know someone is forever potential, but with his life and work being out of town do the two have a chance?

Chase and Cameron are both hot alphas who like to lead in the bedroom, but they also want someone who can keep up too. And in each other they find it. These two definitely steam up the pages!!!

While their story is the focal point you also see them working to track down the bad guys and it helps make the story feel like more than just sex.

I enjoyed getting to know these two as well as the other men of Chases team, and although I wish it were longer everything there was, was very enjoyable to read!

Taming his Mercenary

We met Christian and Rick in the previous book although we didn't see much of them beyond Christian's memorable getting shot in the butt moment.

In this one we see that Rick has had feelings for Christian for a long time and has to decide whether to finally tell him the truth or move on.

When Christian find out about Ricks feelings will he open up and see where things go or will he think that being just friends is better than anything else with Rick?

Christian is a dive right in kinda guy when it comes to life he's not patient, but one thing he doesn't do is relationships.

Rick takes things in and bides his time before taking action, he doesn't do anything rash. He's a tough guy but wants someone to share his life with.

These two have their share of ups and downs, but it's the ending of this one that's the catcher! This one is Cliffhanger central and I'm excited to see what happens between these two in the next novel that is a continuation of their story!

WARNING if you have not read the first two books this review may contain spoilers.

Wow what a shocker the last book gave us at the end! Now we see how Christian deals with an unexpected situation. And Rick just has to learn how to deal.

Christian was a bit of a dummy before, but now he understands his feelings and gives into them and accepts them.

Rick is going through what should be a very difficult time but he does better with it than you might expect. He just accepts his situation and tries to move forward the best he can. His attitude is great and I loved it.

We have some unexpected surprises throughout this one and boy oh boy do some of them really burn up the pages of the story!

Overall I love the concept of this story and this series as a whole, but where book 1 was a standalone about one couple the second and third  books are more like parts of books. Where the second one ended I could understand and accepted that there would be another one, however now this one just ended and this has turned into more of a serial novella series which I was not expecting at all.
